Los Alamos Fuel Cell Research Discussed in BEES 2020 Fall Seminar Series

Dr. Rangachary (Mukund) Mukundan, a lead researcher at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and a representative on the BEES EFRC Scientific Advisory Board presented on the state of research on fuel cells for use in long durability applications such as long-haul, heavy-duty trucks.  The goal is to understand mechanisms in various parts of the fuel cell that keep fuel cells from operating the 30,000 hours needed for future applications.  Once the mechanisms are known, then fuel cells can be designed for longer life.  The fall speaker series is organized by the BEES EFRC Student Research Organization.
