LaunchTown announces 2014 entrepreneurship competition
Students are invited to submit their business ideas to the 2014 LaunchTown Entrepreneurship Awards for a chance to win a $10,000 cash prize.
Disease Diagnostic Group LLC—a team from Case Western Reserve—won the top prize at last year’s competition for its hand-held malaria detector.
Since establishing the annual contest in 2006, LaunchTown has awarded more than $125,000 to promising student-led startups.
Teams should consist of two to five students—with at least one undergraduate and one graduate student—plus one faculty mentor.
