Job Description
Joris supports technology development for research projects in the Department of Biomedical Engineering within the Cleveland FES and APT Centers, specifically in prosthetics and neuroprosthetics.
Key Job Functions

Engineering development: software and hardware development for implantable and external electronics

Project management: supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students and interact with commercial partners

Research project planning: aids in the ongoing strategic and tactical planning for funded research projects and developing new reserach proposals

Reporting to funding agencies: prepare quarterly and annual progress reports to NIH, DARPA, or other funding agencies

Information dissemination: facilitate the publication of research and development results
